We seek to offer financial education by sponsoring programs, seminars, and workshops on entrepreneurship, personal financial planning, wealth building, consumer education, investments and employment opportunities

Each year, the Ithaca Alumnae Chapter offer programs and opportunities designed to address the local community's needs surrounding excellence in education. On a national level, Delta's pursuit of educational excellence takes the form of scholarships and grants to individual members and local chapters.

Through international awareness & involvement projects, members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. have been able to broaden their global awareness, increase knowledge of international affairs, and aid in advancing diversity and inclusion with in their communities

Concerns about America's physical and mental health have not escaped Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta's work in prevention and "wellness" translates to health education programs, health fairs and the provision of health care services. Though non-partisan in nature and purpose, Delta understands the importance of and the need for an informed electorate. Delta's concern for the public's "need-to-know" and the enfranchisement of all Americans has been the philosophical basis for public service programs in this area

All Fundraisers aid in the expansion and growth of our Majorie Penalver Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to a high school senior from the Ithaca/ Elmira, or Cortland Area to fund their college education.
